Butawhiteboy Cantbekhan

Benedict Cumberbatch as Vincent Van Gogh
This will forever be the most beautiful, intense Cumberbatch gif ever made. That little movement of the head, the forehead creased in sobriety, the color of his eyes, that archaic facial hair, the dry lips, the fucking eyelashes…
mrs-freebatchof221bbakerstreet:
Benedict Cumberbatch has mastered the art of making you laugh and sob miserably an indefinite amount of times in the span of one film.

The plot of the new Star Trek movie has been shrouded in secrecy, and internet speculation has been rife as to Benedict Cumberbatch’s role in the film. There’s been plenty of talk that he’ll be picking up the reins of villain Khan from Ricardo Montelbán, who portrayed him in the original series and the second film in the franchise Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, but although this hasn’t been confirmed, his character acting in the film has been praised by his co-stars.
Speaking yesterday to Chris Pine, who plays Captain Kirk in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness, RadioTimes.com hijacked the promotion of his new animated feature Rise of the Guardians, to ask him about Cumberbatch’s role in the science fiction feature, due for release next year. The actor obliged, and revealed details of a key scene involving Cumberbatch. “There’s one scene in it that’s like, you know… in all kinds of heavy science fiction there’s got to be the exposition scene where it’s like, what the hell’s going on? It’s a really, really, really hard scene. Not for me, for Benedict - and watching him handle that and to make something that I think, on paper, could have been a death trap for an actor and to see how he [deals with it]…
Such an amazing scene.“What are you good at?”
oh god this entire play
#I have now seen Sherlock Holmes fall flat on his face out of bed
#ahahaha and Benedict’s like ‘fuck you Martin I know you’re doing this on purpose’
Reblogging for the tags
I can so imagine that happening! Both of them are very giggly, after all. XD
lol just like when Martin cracked up when Benedict fell flat on his face in the Buckingham Palace scene. :P
Behind the scenes on Sherlock Series 1
I’m always amazed by how Benedict’s face changes. In the second gif, he’s Sherlock dressed as Benedict, in the fourth, Benedict dressed as Sherlock.
I love that comment. :-)
Okay here’s where I confess to something I kind of wish would happen even though it would be obnoxious.
We all know, and it has been much commented-on, how much Benedict does not look like Sherlock and vice versa (I think it’s something he does with his eyes/brows that makes the difference). I sort of wish an interviewer would ask him one time to put on the Sherlock face. I bet it’d give everybody goosebumps.
So I realised I’m obviously not the only person out there who is determined to watch EVERYTHING that has a whiff of Benedict Cumberbatch. some of the stuff is on youtube and I just wanted to give you guys a heads up because I always see posts asking for links. i’m not sure if i can link you to it but i will anyway. these people are awesome and please leave a comment on youtube thanking them!

That’s it lovelies! enjoy!
Benedict’s eye acting
I just thought of this…
Considering Zach’s equally high skill for eye acting, I imagine much of ST:ID is going to consist of them basically waggling eyebrows menacingly at each other for 2+ hours.
I am, in fact, completely okay with this outcome.
That would be the best film ever!!!
God just Benedict and Zachary acting opposite each other is going to be amazing.
May can never come soon enough.
So right before the filming of The Report, Stephen Colbert answers audience questions.
Being a fellow nerd, I decided to ask him “Which scene of The Hobbit are you most excited to see on the big screen?”
He replied that he was excited to see the first meeting with Smaug.
He then went on to say “I met Benedict Cumberbatch at the Emmy’s. He was the one I really wanted to see. He somehow heard that I am a Lord of the Rings fan and asked, “Growing up, how did you pronounce Smaug. ‘Smog’ or as ‘Sm-augh’?” Stephen said ‘Smog’ and Benedict replied ‘Thank God. They’ve been having me say ‘sm-augh.’ “
After the show we waited in the cold and Stephen shook my hand. I met my fucking hero.
Stephen Colbert is the coolest.
