Nick Jonas is the Les Mis equivalent of Vanessa Hudgens in Rent
My favorite part of this is how little this looks like the Life Cafe. XD
I mean, it’s closed down now, but yeaahh. That doesn’t look right.

phoenixcee asked you:Hey there :) Thought I’d let you know that I watched Wicked and Rent live on broadway with my friend yesterday (tried Chess, got distracted) He absolutely adored Wicked as he loves it but had never seen it til now! We also loved Rent, but had some critique (positive and negative, mostly on the actors) as we were so used to the movie version. I was wondering how you think the final performance cast compares to the movie cast?
Have a cut, under which I talk at insane lengths about my opinions of the Rent cast in the movie and final performance as well as bringing up many other actors I love in the roles and anecdotes and random stuff.
Because when you’ve been a fan for nearly a decade, you do collect some opinions.
Aaaahhhh. So many feels.
This is completely lovely. <3

Found this picture on the Life Café website, from load-out of the Nederlander.
Caption: “A stage hand loads props taken from the stage set of RENT at the Nederlander Theatre after RENT closed September 2008.”
Um. No.
No. That’s actually my friend Teresa (not a stage hand, just a fan) stealing props. I myself own a few items from load-out day, I was around too. Well, I say stealing - I don’t think anything was taken that we weren’t allowed to. More like salvaged from the trash.
Just. That is the most hilarious thing.
